Stephan

Stephan Weber is CEO & CTO of the Golden Hydrogen Company (TGHC-SPC). He has developed the CO2-2-H2 process and the CO2-2-H2 screening tool.

Stephan looks back on a 34-year distinguished global career with Shell in Reservoir Engineering, Software Development, Hydrocarbon Maturation and Value Assurance.

Stephan has been obsessed with the idea of injecting CO2 into the giant Groningen gas field since the 1990s. In his quest to convince a highly diverse and entrenched group of stakeholders of his concept, he discovered that the CO2-2-H2 process is applicable to any producing conventional gas field and will result in carbon-negative (golden) hydrogen in a profitable manner. He set up the venture with Fariza in order to aggressively market this concept.

Stephan holds a MSc (Diplom) in Mathematics and Mechanics.
